Putting kids in jail to learn real crime is the reality of our current prosecution of marijuana offenders. Do you realize that 42%(2004 figure) of people in jail were there for pot? Do you have any idea what type of resources are need to house all these pot heads? Plus, the ones that come out with a real education in crime are just being set up to be real criminals. Marijuana should be totally legal for all over 21. I think all other drugs should be decriminalized. Junkies should be given treatment and counseling. I have no problem with you saying you won't smoke pot. Don't. That is your choice and your right, which I would never try and take from you or anyone else. I think, if the above changes were to be applied, alcohol should be outlawed. I am not on here trying to convince people their right to consume alcohol should be taken or even limited. Really that is none of my business. I guess you feel you know enough about this (and it seems your knowledge is just what you were told) to say others shouldn't smoke. In the end, that is just someone else saying they should be in control of others rights! I will choose what to put in my body. Really, what right do you have to say what rights I should have? I know for fact that pot heads are no threat to anyone, compared to a drunk, or even worse a mean drunk. Please don't respond with the patented response written by others. Think about what rights everyone should have.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville
