The only truth that we're not being shown is the true effects of war. People think Al-Jazeera is bias against the U.S. invasion for showing dead bodies, and blown up houses. Please! If you're too ignorant to think that war is all syrupy-sweet and filled with poetry, drama, and kids throwing flowers and giving hugs and kisses to "the liberator" then you really need to get your facts, history, and reality straight.

The only thing the news shows is the point of view from miles away. They'll show artillery being fired off but never the innocent people that get shrapnel in them or get limbs blown off, they'll show planes dropping bombs but never the bombed out houses of innocents and the charred bodies of innocent children and adults alike, they'll show soldiers shooting off into a distance but never the sight that every soldier has to live with: human beings dying. They'll show singing or praising, but never the screaming, the horrid screaming.

True they do report the numbers of dead occasionally. But just that, numbers. They completely took the faces off of the poor innocents or soldiers that have to die for such an unjust war. It reminds me of Stalin how he says that the deaths of millions are just "statistics". Of coarse people are going to support a war when they dont encounter the true human effects it has. In war, the innocent always suffer.

Its just that the Al-Jazeera doesn't just show the pictures of explosions from far off, or sleek attractive planes or weapons unloading their ordinance...but they are there, they show what the true effect of war is. The US media however just shows the tactical stand point from above. The Al-Jazeera showing the human effects and the troubles they had to go through, while CNN and Fox News were happy to invite generals on the set to explain their tactics and how they are going to most efficiently kill human beings and destroy life. Sick, utterly sick.
