The "40 million Americans without healthcare" line is crap. It's an absolute lie. | That's all good dude.. But why do you get so worked up if somebody wants completely free medical treatment for any body and everybody who needs it?
What's wrong in demanding that your government spend less on weaponry and more on health?
The point is that while you fly into a rage when your hard earned tax dollars are used to treat a person's ailments, i hardly hear any criticism of a 78 billion dollar war. Aren't those your tax dollars being used stupidly?
Ok forget about the Iraq war. How about military spending in general. The US army far outranks any other armed force on the planet in terms of advanced technology. How much more powerful does it need to get?
Often the answer is terrorism. Well i think it's been sufficiently proven that terrorism can not be combatted by a LARGER army. It requires a SMARTER army. That means smarter purchases and smarter usage of existing capabilities. And less burden on you as a tax payer. In my mind that is a more valid place to vent your anger on the government's spending.
In my opinion, universal free healthcare is of higher priority than military spending. So have a go at that why don't you. Love for all, Hatred for none |
