 The projected rate of return that I have for the money I have invested in SS is approximately 1.5%. I would have done much better taking that money and investing it in a bank account at 3%, I would have doubled my retirement. A money market account at 6% would increase my retirement by 300%
dmk Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
