I don't get why being a "liberal" carries such a negative connotation amongst conservatives in the USA.

Why is being a liberal a bad thing?

How are liberals evil?

How do they threaten the american way of life?

How are they wishy washy pansies?

I don't claimto know anything, this is just what i hear fox calling liberals. And i was wondering why.
