I honestly feel that Reagan was one of the greatest presidents this country has ever seen.

And whereas I do agree that FDR was a good president, and that he did do a lot to revitalize the governement and the economy, it was most of his ideas that lead to the messes we are dealing with today. Many of his programs that were ideal for the time, were not meant to persist, but they did, and they are nothing but problematic now, because they were not designed for the long term. Welfare is a prime example of a part of FDR's 'new deal' that is long past it's prime.
