Capital Punishment
In my opinion capital punishment is good. If someone has murdered people or carried out a crime worthy of the death penalty they do not deserve to live. It is not an act of revenge, it is punishment...hents the name capital Punishment. It is very costly to allow these criminals to live. We are stuck paying for their food, when we could just kill them. Some people believe that killing scumbags on death row is more expensive then keeping them alive. This is wrong. People only compare the price of the leathel injection to one year of keeping criminals alive. In that comparison the leathel injection is more costly. But what about the rest of the criminals life? These comparisons are misleading. We need to examine not one year, but the whole criminals life. In this comparison leathel injection is less expensive. It is more expensive to keep them alive for life and this cost is only going to grow higher as lifespans increase.

As far as morals go, the scumbags on death row did something wrong and they deserve death. The majority of people who aren't for capital punishment are for abortion. And what is funny to me is that they are ok with killing an innocent baby but they aren't ok with killing a convicted murderer. Whats wrong with that picture? There is something wrong with their so called morals.

I have a solution that will please a majority of people. Animal rights activists are always complaining about cruel animal testing. My solution, instead of testing on innocent animals, do the testing on the death row criminals. This may be cruel but like sgtdmski wrote: "
For the death penalty to be a deterent it needs to be cruel. How many people do you think had a second thought about stealing a horse after seeing that horse thief hung last week?"
"I'd prefer to live as if there is a god and die to find out that there isn't, than live as if there isn't a god and die to find out that there is."

A definition:
lib.er.al {\'li-b(&-)r&l} noun: A person so open minded their brains have fallen out.
