1) Accurately relaying the cause of a soldier's death has nothing to do with "running a war". If people think that we have to lie to the American public for the purpose of "running a war", then they are asking to be sheep...
2) Nobody said anything about "intentionally killing". Nobody said anything about ruling out "friendly fire".
3) I find it ironic that there is criticism towards the news media for not reporting all there is to report on the war effort, but here we have the American government LYING to the grieving families of American soldiers, and these are the types of responses we see.
So I guess we see that not telling the whole story is bad.
LYING about the circumstances of a death is okay.
