I do not think receiving money from the government is a bad thing after working your whole life. The problem is that a lot of people do not work their whole life. There are a lot of people who live off the government their whole life, acting as little more than baby-making machines, sucking up more and more welfare. I think these people should not be allowed to do that, and they definately should not be allowed to collect more money at the end of a life time spent doing that.

I think that Social Security can not be a garunteed safety net, if it is, it will only encourage some people to lean on it.
