Some people don't even have a chance at an education in this country unless they join the military! The price for an education is insane.

Education or not people should be taken care of... their basic needs that is. Just look at our neighbors to the north. If they can do it, we certainly can too.
All it is my friend did when he came from Russia was look around for a job. He got one, went to college, and went along his way. Not too tough.

His family could have been supporting him for all you know... a job will not pay for rent, tuition, food, books, etc without some support from family or huge loans that he will be paying back until he is 50.
