Don't underestimate the value or importance of blogs! More and more young people (us) are turning to blogs and the internet to get their news, and form their opinions on various subjects. Blogs are the new journalism, and the fact that so many of them are raw, un edited and un-influenced by major corporate interests adds to their appeal for many younger people. Blogs are important. Of course, like most anything else 99% of them are crap (I am sure more than a few people feel that way about mine), but there are a lot of gems too.
