War has rules too.
There is no standard by which rules get thrown out in time of war.
That's part of the whole point of the "Geneva Convention".

No. I am not more afraid of my government.
The point is that the government SHOULD NOT INSPIRE ANY fear in the citizen.

If some miscellaneous woman off the street called you "stupid", and your wife called you "stupid", which would you treat with more reaction?
If a kid at your local school was caught doing pot, and your kid was caught doing pot, which would inspire greater concern?

What the other kid is doing IS NOT AN EXCUSE for your own government behaving badly.

OUR government should be following the rules.
