It's a question of simple economics.
Where is the money for the vouchers going to be coming from?

You only have a couple of options. Raise taxes to cover the increased costs, or take from the public schools. (Or some variant inbetween...)

I wasn't "admitting" that at all. It's simple logic.
If you have "two" alternatives, and you make one alternative more economically feasible, you're going to see more people switch to that alternative.

And moreover, I suspect that public schools do provide an inferior product. I think that should be fairly easy to check with test scores and the like.
But I haven't looked, and I suspect you haven't either Jefferson.
