Yeah, you're right...the point is that if a teenager can make more than minimum wage right off the bat, there's a good chance that that person will be able to work himself/herself up to higher wages and better jobs. Yes, it takes motivation and some ambition but you can't expect to pay the bills without those two things either.
But it don't take much to get me by
