Sure, but "doing something" doesn't necessarily mean we should be doing what we are doing. Plus, not to say that I think the opinions of other countries should dominate our decisions, but I think it sends a message when many powerful countries, and trusted allies, disagreed with our actions. It's bad foreign policy. It may or may not shake out to be a bad decision but I don't think we'll know until Bush is significantly removed from office.
