Ask a Democrat on each of those issues, some you'll probably get the same answers, but most of those issues I'm sure you'll get different answers by a lot of Democrats. Generally speaking Democrats are together on being pro-choice, and anti-Iraq War. But there's too much bickering over gay marriage, taxes, healthcare, and other things.
The reason why Lieberman was alienated is because he alienated himself from the Democratic Party really far. I think it had more to do with the war than anything. Like I said, the Democrats are generally together on being against Bush's wartime policies...Lieberman isn't.
