1. The Native Americans migrated, from Asia across the Bering Strait, to what is now North America. Exactly when we do not know. But we do know that it was not ORIGINALLY their land.

2. The tribes that were present when "the white man" came across the plains had simply run off a different tribe some time before that.

3. There were not native American Indians ONLY in the midwest. This is further evidence of your ignorance! They were all across the continent.
