Why do people keep confusing the issue of BIGOTRY and the issue of RIGHTS?

People have a right to be bigotted.
I have said that over and over again, and some STILL can't figure out what I'm saying.

Whether or not people have a right to vote for a person just because he is gay is not a factor in whether or not it is bigotry.

Answer these two questions.

1) Is it bigotted to not vote for a candidate just because he is black?
2) Is it legal to vote for a candidate just because he is black?
