There is NO DOUBT that hezbollah is guilty of war crimes. Uninhibited violence against civilians IS a crime.
However the SAME organization you are using to CONDEMN hezbollah is always very conveniently disregarded when it comes to analyzing the behaviour of the united states.
Like Gitmo or Abu Ghraib.
I think it's brilliant that you would take Amnesty seriously. But you can't limit its validity to just CERTAIN events.
It does seem typical this attitude that as long as their view is in accordance with US dictate, then it's fine. Otherwise it is irrelevant. ESPECIALLY if the analysis is NEGATIVE ( bloody blasphemers they are).
Spare us the righteousness. The US is no more in a position to be selfrighteous than any terrorist outfit on the planet. | You're comparing Hezbollah to Gitmo and/or Abu Ghraib?
You're blind man! Totally deluded and blind!
I don't think anybody here is defending what a FEW American soldiers did at Abu Ghraib. But make no mistake: THERE IS A MARKED DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAKING AN ENEMY COMBATANT STAND NAKED, WITH A LEASH ON - AND SLAUGHTERING INNOCENT CIVILIANS!
Can you understand that? |
