Good news! Global demand for oil was LOWER than expected during the first 6 months of 2006.

It needs to go down a WHOLE LOT MORE, but at least this is a start.

If/when the United States weans itself off foreign oil, we can give the terrorist-supporting OPEC nations the "proverbial finger" and let them go back to the Stone Age.
