 Speaking of the minimum wage, recently a bill was introduced that would increase it. It was shot down. Right after that the politicians gave themseves a huge wage increase (voted on by both major parties).
As for the increase in population, this includes a fair percentage of legal immigrants, that do work, not to mention the large number of people who became of legal age to work, during this time period. The numbers speak for themselves. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour
