First of all, I disapprove of this poll. I agree with both choices #1 and #3. This is because there is no doubt that gay people are treated exactly the same as straight people under the law. And that's what choice #3 says. On the other hand, there is no doubt that gay people are treated unequally, and that's what #1 says. So which one am I supposed to vote for? Obviously I voted for #1, but the poll wording is wrong. Besides, I hate polls. They only show opinion, not reason.

Second:

Since it is tied in religion, there are many other things that need to be re-written if marriage was allowed for gays.
What else would have to be rewritten? Is there even one other thing?

We aren't suggesting that anyone change his religion. We only want the government to recognize gay marriage and straight marriage the same way.

This is tied into religion, and that's the problem. Gay people are religious too. So instead of deciding that the heterosexual's marriage is law, the government should let each person's own beliefs decide his marriage. Let my beliefs decide my marriage, and let your beliefs decide yours. Your beliefs are no excuse to deny me marriage under the law.

And third:

No... no bias and blind agendas going on there! Huhh Uhh!
Maybe I should watch more TV. Anyhow, what does this have to do with same-sex marriage, again?
