Second guessing a decision
Hindsight is 20/20 they say. Whether on not the second plane should or should not have been shot down makes for an interesting discussion, but that is all it is. The decisions made on 9-11 by our elected leaders were made with the information at hand in a very small window of time. I agree that the president would find it difficult to shoot down a plane full of americans, no matter what was about to happen, and that is the main point here, no one knew for sure what was about to happen. Playing monday morning quarterback after having the chance to watch the events unfold is always easier, than actually dealing with a situation as it unfolds.
