You're probably right. What you said about McCain goes both ways I believe, with the right and with the left. I think, just like Hillary, he tries to be 'in the center' too much. In other words, he'll support some conservative things as well as some liberal things, but instead of making everyone like him, it makes everyone despise him. I can't stand Hillary for this same reason. She supports some liberal issues, but because of some other things she supports; I just can't bring my conscious up to casting a vote for her.
