As a conservative I can tell you that this video will not influence our decisions about Rudy Guiliani. We understand that it is good old-fashioned (something we like) humor and accept it for which it was intended. What is going to hurt Guiliani with conservative voters is his stance on abortion and guns. However, like everyone else, if he is our candidate (Republican party) we will more than likely support the lesser of two evils.

In order for Guiliani to win the Republican nomination he will have to convince conservatives to support him over other more conservative candidates. If he does become the candidate, then of course conservatives will be faced with the choice of electing him despite his stance, or not vote for him and perhaps see elected a candidate who is totally opposed to our views.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
