I agree with you entirely. I have posted before that fish farms should grow a certain amout to be released into the wild. Having enough to also feed our people with out releasing them is also key. Why release and then catch them again only to damage our coral reefs, ocean bottoms and spend all that money on commercial fishing? I would lke to see each boat convert to fish farming. It is actually going to be possible soon as there is a Bill to start offshore fish farming(or ranching if you prefer), to be reviewed soon. If this actually works the problems of enclosed fish farms shouldn't be a worry.
