Islam is responsible for 500,000 deaths in the last century? Haaaa! That's absurd! Not only are there no sources cited, whoever made that cute little dealie is comparing 100 years of Islam with 1500 years of Catholicism. That's a little dishonest, isn't it?
Now, before you bounce off into your next assumption, NO I am NOT Catholic. And NO I do NOT defend, in any way, the Crusades. They were stupid and wrong. But let's do some history research here. The Crusades were NOT the result of some Pope with a boner saying, "Hey, I think maybe I ought to have my armies go kill a couple thousand people..."
The Crusades were a DIRECT RESULT OF MUSLIM WARFARE, AGRESSION AND SLAUGHTER. To deny that is to admit idiocy. |
