Last night I watched Law and Order: SUV and it showed a man that was a rapist/murderer. His mother locked him in a closet many many times when he was just a little toddler. And it was dark and scary and she left the house with him locked in there.
I do not think that it is the right of the corrections institutions to cause someone to go insane. I think that is one very awful thought you pose, as if that is a right judgement!
