BECAUSE hospitals and doctors have to write off so much from the uninsured, many of whom are illegals, they bill insurance companies much much more than the actual cost of service, making insurance coverage more and more expensive all the time. And yes, many of those uninsured have elected to be uninsured. Wasn't it Massachusetts that recently passed a bill making having insurance coverage mandatory for everyone?

What's the point of this discussion? Are we talking about what would be the best solution, or just throwing stones?
