That's how it works EVERYWHERE in EVERY business.

The paying customers, at (for instance) WalMart, pay higher prices because of those who steal.
The paying customers pay higher interest on credit cards to pay for those who default.
The paying customers pay higher mortgage rates to cover those louts that default on their mortgages.


Perhaps the teenagers here just haven't been in the real world long enough to know that that's how it works everywhere. Unfortunate, yes. But it's reality.
