Weed is illegal because people are afraid of it; marijuana prohibitionists are living with an out-dated and irrational fear that smoking herb is somehow harmful for the individual and for society. Personally, I'd rather be around stoners than a bunch of tight-asses.
Marijuana is not addictive, it doesn't cause brain damage, and you can't overdose on it. What I don't get is why alcohol and cigarrettes are still legal when both are worse for whoever uses them.
You know, in some parts of the South, dancing is condemned. Apparently, people start getting out of control and -- GOD FORBID -- they smile! \"Are we justified in using articles, no matter how convenient it may be for us to use them, that we know were produced in conditions which bored and even stultified the human beings who had to make them?\"
