| Jefferson, I am sorry. Let me qualify my statement. SAT scores have nothing to do with the true measure of a man's ability to debate and share how he will take up his civic responsibilities as a citizen of the United States. SAT's are only a guage of one's knowledge, but there are other weights and measures just as useful or moreso in such a scale. Like how well read someone is, how much common sense do they use, how much do they do critical thinking...just cos someone did not take a test or even if they did and did not score so well, that does not take away a practical and much needed addition to the rest of this community or to this world as a whole. For the record, I am sure I have bowled you over already with my vast knowledge, but truth be told, I aint taken the SAT's either. On the other hand, I did take my driver's test ... OD |
