I know McCain doesn't appeal to a lot of Republicans because he tends to be moderate on a lot of issues, but if we are still in Iraq come next election, I still think he stands the best chance of resolving it and if we are still there in 2008, that's going to be one of (if not THE) major issues. Unless something major happens, Hillary will be the Democratic choice and the GOP can run a dead guy and win so I guess it really won't matter. If someone stronger emerges on the Dem side, it may take a more moderate GOP candidate to pull it off. Just my opinion though
