Here are my thoughts:
- First of all, the Democrats absolutely cut each other's throats in the Primaries. Then in the Generals, they're sitting ducks and already have too much damage. And they complain that the Republicans are their enemies?
- I just don't think Hillary is electable - and it's because WOMEN don't like her. Plus, she just plain carries too much baggage (and I'm not talking about her thighs). Personally, I think she could make a fine President, because she'd be hard as hell. I'd like to see Iran's President Asswipe face-off with THAT menopausal woman! Talk about a wooppin'! The idiot wouldn't know what hit him!
- I think the Republicans are going to sit and be quiet for awhile. Let the Democrats have their self-destructive circus for awhile. Let the DNC implode on itself.
- I have no idea who the GOP candidate will be. Rudy looks possible, but I think it'll be somebody else - and not Condi.
- I think two things will determine whether DNC or GOP wins the White House in 2008: Whether or not we've succeeded in Iraq, and the economy. If things are good in Iraq, and we're out - and if the economy is strong - the GOP will be in the White House. |
*LOL* - I never thought about Hillary from that perspective but that would be fun to watch! I have a feeling she is NOT someone you want to tick off. You know, I never quite understood why she let Bill slide on the Monica thing until I realized that she was not the fool she seemed to be at the time. She is using him and his popularity for her own gain and I can guarantee as a woman (we love revenge!), she is making Bill pay big time.
I've always kidded with my boss that we need a woman president because women hold grudges much better than men. No way we let some other country use us, abuse us and turn against us - WE will remember! The DNC has been it's own worst enemy the last several years - you are right about that. They can't seem to get their act together and decide what they really want to be. I can't quite figure out why. They have some potentially good candidates but, for some reason, they can't seem to get behind them. I never understood the choice of Kerry. To me, he seemed the least likely to succeed. |
