When I was a college freshman, well over 25 years ago, I had to do a speech on gun control.
In order to "get things started off on the right foot" I decided that it'd be a great idea to carry a starter pistol into class with me, in my jacket pocket. About 1 minute into my speech, I pulled out the pistol and shot a kid in class.
Absolutely scared the CRAP out of everybody, including the professor - who ended up giving me an "A."
In the end, I walked out of class with an "A" and began quite a line of college lore. "Hey, did you hear about that guy who shot a kid in speech class? It was awesome!"
Now... what do you suppose will happen if you try to do that when YOU'RE a college freshman? I'd guess you'd be in jail wouldn't you? |
