Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) conversion kits run about $1,400. And that's just the beginning. You ALSO have to have a way of getting, storing, and filtering the used grease from places like McDonalds. In addition, you still have to run on regular Dino-Diesel in order to get the vehicle warmed up, and for the last 5 minutes of the drive.
And, when you consider the fact that you'd have to drive nearly 100,000 miles just to save enough money to pay off the cost of the conversion kit, the obvious becomes EXTREMELY obvious.
Bio-diesel and WVO conversions are completely and totally useless to the VAST majority of American consumers.
But there are better options... |
