I believe the original intent of the conversation was military support for Bush. You retorted cw3adkins' initial suggestion that because you like Bush you must have not been in the military, by saying that the majority of the military voted for Bush. This is a counterpoint to the insinuation that military men and women are generally against Bush, thus, you are attempting to argue the majority of the military are for Bush, correct?

But the point being made is that your numbers only describe a majority of the votes counted. This number doesn't represent the majority of all the military votes, let alone the majority of the military (as some didn't vote at all). In this context, your justification behind your suggestion that the majority of the military is for Bush is null. This is the only point being made.

And while we don't know that the uncounted votes went to the Democrats, we ALSO don't know they went to Bush. Therefore I think it is most reasonable to conclude the general attitude of Bush from people with first-hand experience...and in this case, it is cw3adkins.
