You have no idea the actual majority rule because the whole was not even counted, plain and simple. that's like the issues with florida and ohio...of course i guess that you would just consider those 'just mistakes'. |
But let us remember that it was the Democrats that were fighting to have these votes not counted, while at the same time telling everyone that they wanted every vote to count. What was their fear of these votes that they didn't want them counted. For those of you too dense to realize the obvious I will spell it out for you...THEY FEARED THE ABSENTEE BALLOTS FROM OVERSEAS AND THE MILITARY WOULD BE VOTES IN FAVOR OF BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!
THis is the only obvious conclusion, for no Democrat in their right mind would want votes for Gore to be discounted.
dmk Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles -Russell Kirk- |
