One does not need to openly proclaim themselves to be racist in order to be categorized as such. Once again, anecdotal information is not the final source. And a number of news articles are not "hearsay" if they're confirmed by the government in a way that makes the military look incompetent. That's accepting constructive criticism, and it proves that the problem is present.
