When an "executioner" ends the life of a convicted criminal, that is a FAR CRY from killing an innocent, helpless baby. Is it murder? Possibly. But most people would call it justice.

A soldier? I suppose that depends on whether the soldier is intentionally killing innocent civilians, or "doing his job" doesn't it?

Eating meat? Sure, call it murder if you want. But you're going to have a hard time convincing any intelligent person that a chicken is equivalent to a human being.
