That said, i am not laying all the blame on the US. The CORE problem is still that we have a political class consisting of feudal lords, crooks and thugs here in Pakistan.

In order to progress Pakistan still has a lot of housecleaning to do, and the people of Pakistan really need to get their act together.

However US involvement have ASSISSTED these crooks to remain in power and exploit the common man. From providing huge sums to the Zia regime to train and deploy the forces that were to become the Taliban, to pushing through IMF loans to assist Nawaz Sharif in passing an amendment to grant him executive powers for life ( luckily he was removed by a military coup), US involvement has invariably spelled disaster for the process of democracy and equality in this nation.
