The military has traditionally leaned republican, but not by that big of a margin. (Among the enlisted, anyway.) The percentage split would be more along the lines of 57%-67% for Bush. Also, They vote at only a slightly higher percentage than the population in general.
My basic point was this: It is entirely possible for the majority of the military to dislike Bush and it not be reflected in the vote. I'm not quite sure why you are so bothered by this idea. | You wouldn't understand it without actually reading the whole thread - which I'd suggest you do.
