what we all need to understand is America is not the braindead SOBs in DC, America is the people, such as you and I and the rest of this country, so when anti-American statements are aired like this, the world is not thinking of the goverment ...they are thinking of you and I...
Let me ask all of you this, if someone in your family does something really bad,,,,do you go out in the streets and tell everyone about it,,,,NO i would hope not, but you would take that person aside and make walk the right path, right???? so why can't we do the same for this country...do you see what i am saying...think about it. | How do we take our politicians aside? I think one of our greatest strengths is that we do air our own dirty laundry, and that we embrace an open forum for free debate and discussion of differing opinions.
I love my country and I get upset when I see it get put down too, but I am realistic, and I know that the truth often hurts. I believe the most patriotic thing a citizen can do is to make an earnest effort to right wrongs, and part of that is through education. People have to understand what is wrong, and why it is wrong. It's nice to get a different perspective on things. Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand. http://www.armysailor.com http://www.tadpolenet.com/techblog
