You nor anyone will ever know the horrors of war until you see it,smell, and taste it in person. and in most cases the easy part is making it home alive, the hard part is living with all that hate, fear, and alot of times guilt..
Besides suffering from this body wound, i also suffer from stress, depression, and i forget many things.( like where I read, seen, or heard things).
I don't like war, sure when i was younger i though war was a big thing for big man, that was until I seen my friend killed, and fear set in, and the only way to fight fear is with hate. i would never want my children nor anyone to be i a war again. but that not the waty the world works. | Well put. War definately has an effect on a person to their very core. I once saw 10 of my comrades go home in boxes on the same day. I fear I have been irreversibly changed. In some ways good, some bad, but there is still a lot of pain, anger, and fear... Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand. http://www.armysailor.com http://www.tadpolenet.com/techblog
