And I agree that abortion is, on average, an acceptable practice in the US today. At least in terms of it's current legal standing in America.

(Although I'd add that most Americans, also on average, dislike the idea of abortion entirely. It's like holding a enraged and rabid wolf by it's ears...you just don't dare let go of it.)
