Anyhow as a muslim i was circumcised at birth. Many people consider it a mutilation, very often comparing it to the african custom of female circumcision. I can testify that such is not the case. Female circumcision is an atrocity committed in some cultures because of some misconstrued notion that women are not supposed to enjoy sex ( they may become harlots if they do.. how stupid is that?)

What i CAN testify to is that in denmark ( while i was relentlessly poked fun at during gym class - not funny when ur 15 ) many of my contemporaries suffered from various bacterial and fungal infections whereas i never did. Now i realize that if a person sustains basic levels of hygeine this risk is minimized. However in pakistan, even though many people don't have access to clean water, such infections are unheard of.

I think that it makes sense that HIV contraction is reduced also since bodily fluids have no place to get stuck ( in the event that a person doesn't take a post-coital shower).

I dunno guys this is of course ENTIRELY a personal choice, but i would sincerely recommend such a procedure for all boys. It is not a risky procedure, when done in infancy the pain is just not remembered, it cetainly does not affect your sex-drive or your sexual prowess, does not matter to women ( or so i hear), it is probably more hygeinic and altogether a pretty healthy thing to do.
