Well they're islands. They're not exactly powerhouses waiting to tap into unlimited resources. I'm sure their main sources of revenue would probably be tourism. Obviously if we embargo and ban visitation, this tourist industry isn't going to flourish.

But as for the South American countries, they are turning around. More specifically I'm talking about Brazil. As Brazil rises, I think the economies of the surrounding nations would benefit.
