It is about a person's right to choose what they want to do with themselves. If you can choose, to use a man made intoxicant, that has been proven to do major damage to your organs, causes some people to get violent, and is responisble for thousands of deaths each year, than the choice to use a naturally occuring plant, that is linked to very few deaths, does littile damage to your body, and doesn't cause people to get violent, should be a given.
There really are no worthy arguements to this logic.
It should be legal to do what ever you want to your body. It's legal to choose to pierce or tattoo any body part you wish but you can't smoke a joint because you find it relaxing? It's about the individual's right to choice if marijuana is a good thing for thier own recreational pleasure.
