That was 12-years ago, boys and girls. It's too bad that the MORONS at MoveOn.org can't figure that out.
In other news:
Wal-Mart - much maligned by liberals everywhere - funds NPR and awards NPR scholarships.
McDonalds - through the wife of its founder, Ray Kroc - has contributed hundreds of millions to NPR. You remember McDonalds? That hell-hole that under-pays employees and is endangering Americans with it's horrible menus and animal-rights abusing practices?
The MacArthur Foundation is major contributor. You remember John D MacArthur - extremely rich banking/insurance mogul? Wasn't he the epitome of the rich big business fat-cats that liberals LOVE to HATE?
The Horace W Goldsmith Foundation - also funders of Planned Parenthood, the NAACP, the Sierra Club and other leftist organizations.
The list ultra-rich, ultra-liberal NPR sponsors goes on and on and on. But the bottom line is this: You girls can put this urban myth to bed. http://www.npr.org/about/annualreports/npr2004.pdf Urban Legend Zeitgeist: Save PBS/NPR Email Petition | Jeff, it is against the law to slander a legitimate organization.
