The funding doesn't get cut.

But it does all for MoveOn.Org - and all its drones - to make a big stink and froth at the mouths like there's some "vast right-wing conspiracy" going on here.

When are people going to THINK?
Your point is not that at all. Your point was a personal attack on MoveOn because it is what you called a Fraud. The petition is very real. I posted the links to prove that your claim was inncorrect.
Now you have just confirmed that: 'The funding for NPR and PBS comes up for renewal every year - and every once in awhile somebody (usually a conservative trying to make a point, which is pretty danged legitimate)'.
The conservative you are talking about is George Bush. The only difference from what you said that is that it happens every year NOTever once in a while!

President proposes $56B for education in 2008--but nothing for ed tech
From: eSchool News staff and wire service reports

The $56 billion that President Bush has proposed in federal funding for education in 2008 is a small portion of the $2.9 trillion spending plan he sent to a Democratic Congress on Feb. 5. Overall, the president has proposed a big increase in military spending, including billions more to fight the war in Iraq, while squeezing the rest of government to meet his goal of eliminating the deficit in five years.

How education fares against other budget measures

For the fourth straight year , President Bush has proposed cutting the Enhancing Education Through Technology block-grant program--the primary source of federal funding for school technology--from the federal budget.

Once again you have stated something that you have no proof of other than your opinion. Maybe we should ask ridin' to open an opinion thread just for you. Or maybe you could post in conspiracy theories and start your own thread. Call it 'liberal consipracy theories', since its mostly your theories and all you can seem to talk about, in most of your posts. You can post there on every subject on DTT that you don't have a link to back up what you say. Then at the end of each conversation you wouldn't seem so discredited.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour
